Everyone in our office is fluent in English and French. We can also serve patients in Portuguese, Italian, Greek and Spanish.

Dr. Douglas E. Hamilton

Dr. Hamilton has a special interest in restoring smiles to their natural beauty with the most up-to-date, quality materials and techniques. His practice also provides excellent hygiene and comfortable, periodontal care. Treatment of sleep apnea and early detection of oral cancer and practice management are other special areas of interest and expertise.

Doug has been happily married to his wife Pam for twenty-two years, and they have three grown children - Heather, Christopher and Sarah. In his spare time, Doug enjoys reading, cottage life, playing hockey in several Old Timer groups, playing piano and trumpet, and singing in the occasional rock and roll band.

I am committed to helping my patients not only improve their smiles and self-esteem, but also in providing them with the means to live longer, healthier lives. Dentistry really can be comfortable and even fun, so I try to do my job well while sharing a laugh or two.“

Diana

Diana is the proud mother of Sharon, and grandmother to Jasmine and Vincent.

Originally trained as a nurse, Diana then worked as a manager at Aeroflot Soviet Airlines before joining our practice. For twenty-two years, Diana worked with Dr. Hamilton, first as a chair-side assistant, but she now works in an administrative and consulting role.

Diana is a people person and really enjoys meeting new clients. Off the job, she enjoys entertaining friends, playing badminton, kayaking, camping, cycling and social dance classes.

Debbie

After completing a BSc. in geology, Debbie studied Dental Hygiene at John Abbott College, graduating in 1991. She posted a one-year residency at the Jewish General Hospital and has been working with Dr. Hamilton for the past 16 years.

Debbie is on the teaching staff at the John Abbott College Hygiene School where she teaches a class on periodontal disease, and acts as a clinical demonstrator.

When not doing hygiene or teaching, Debbie can be found enjoying reading, hiking, playing hockey as a goaltender or on the lake on her personal water craft.

Maria

Maria joined Dr. Hamilton's practice in 1990 as a dental assistant, and has never looked back.

With over eighteen years experience with in the dental office, she is extremely competent and particularly enjoys the patient interaction. Her fluency in Portuguese, French, English and ”good“ Italian help.

Maria is married to her loving Tony, who cooks for her every night. She has two wonderful daughters. She enjoys walking, reading and the fine dining experience provided by her husband.

Shannon

Shannon has worked with Dr. Hamilton since she graduated from Hygiene school at John Abbott College in 2000. With eight years of experience she is very skilled in her work and is popular with our patients.

Shannon is a proud mother of two little boys and lives in her happy home with husband Chris. When not sharing time with the three men in her life, she enjoys yoga and home design.

Georgia

Georgia speaks English, French, Greek, Spanish and a bit of Italian and Portuguese. Georgia has a diploma in Dental Assistance and although very experienced, she regards herself as a people person which is her primary asset in her work. ”I have been working in the dental profession for twenty-five years and with the wonderful Dr. Hamilton for seven years.“

She has been married to Hugo for eighteen years and they have three great children. A few of her favorite things are spinning, walking, reading and of course spending time with her family.

Irene

Irene is fluent in Italian, English and French. Irene has worked in dentistry for twenty-five years, the last three with Dr. Hamilton. She has been married to Maria's brother-in-law Mario for twenty-three years, and has two beautiful children. Irene is a tender-hearted people person and loves to socialize with her family and friends.

Sylvie

Sylvie has been a dental hygienist for fifteen years. ”I love what I do, helping people with their oral health.“ She practiced in British Columbia for over eight years and has been back in Montreal for five. ”I have been working for Dr. Hamilton for over two years and enjoy working at such a great office. The staff works so well with each other, we all work as a team. Dr. Hamilton has all the latest technology, which makes it a joy to come to work.“

Sylvie speaks Portuguese, French and English. When not at work, Sylvie shares time with her family, Pierre, Jamie her seven-year-old son and her dog Lulu, enjoying everything life has to offer.

Chantal

Chantal has worked in dentistry for sixteen years both as an assistant and as an administrator and has been working with Dr. Hamilton for eleven. For the last five years she has worked in administration and as a consultant for patients. She enjoys explaining various treatments to patients and helping them to understand their dental needs.

A former basketball and soccer coach, she has now settled into a career of marathon running. Chantal spends weekends in the townships with her husband Marcel and her four children, skiing in the winter and swimming in the summer.

Tara

Tara graduated with a DEP in Dental Assisting in 2000. She has been working with Dr. Hamilton for seven years and is glad to be back after her maternity leave. ”Our office is like a second home to me.“

Tara is a Taurus but is gentle as a lamb. Married to the loving Michael, she is the mother of two ”amazing children“, four-year-old Jayla and one-year-old Michael. Tara loves sports especially baseball, working out, and reading in her spare time. She loves family activities and volunteering. Her great hope is to one day meet Oprah.

Tina

Tina is our newest and youngest team member. She is a recent graduate from the Dental Hygiene school at John Abbott college where she received the Henry Schein/Arcona award for her excellence in restorative dentistry. Previously, Tina was a dental assistant and secretary for 3 1/2 years before she continued her studies in dental hygiene.

Tina loves her career and is proud to be part of the Westmount Dental Care family.

During her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as downhill skiing, snowboarding and volleyball.
